This year will mark the 10th anniversary of Pet Pals providing vet care, shelter and adoption services for rescued and unwanted companion animals, providing financial assistance to needy pet owners, implementation of feline low cost spay/neuter programs, collecting and distribution pet food, feral cat trap-neuter-release programs, micro-chip and rabies clinics and more.  Our success is due to the tireless efforts of volunteers, local veterinarians and your generous monetary and supply donations.

What we all have been doing is dealing with the problems of pet overpopulation and lack of education in our communities.  It's time to start working on a solution.  What we need is an army of soldiers who care about the well being and humane treatment of companion animals.  The army needs to raise their voices and be heard on a state-wide level.  Only by organizing the troops can we convince our local and state legislators to pass laws such as mandating animal control officer training and implementing a state-wide low-cost spay/neuter program for cats and dogs.

All you have to do is complete the below information.  We will put this information into a database along with your District, Representative and Senator.  When we have a legislative alert, which relates to a specific lawmaker, we will then send targeted e-mails or calls to our soldiers in that district asking for help.  Your mission will be to contact your lawmaker either by phone or e-mail, and then tell how you want them to respond to the issue.  You have voted for these legislators and they work for you.  Your tax dollars pay their salaries.  Make sure they are making the right decision you want.
