Success Stories

Sydney

Sydney came to us pregnant from the New Haven pound. All the puppies were adopted and we tried to find Sydney a home for over 1 year. Finally, the right home was found and she is living safely with a family in Danielson.

Yankee

Yankee was a stray living at the Connecticut Yankee Nuclear Power Plant in Haddam. Rescued by one of our members, she was vetted and adopted shortly thereafter. She now lives in a safe, warm home.

Zorro

Zorro's owners moved into a no pet condo and couldn't keep Zorro or his brother, Blackbeard, any longer. Pet Pals placed both of them together in a home in Plainfield. These two cats were purebred Persians.

Sunny

Sunny came from a high-kill facility in Kentucky with a deformed right front leg. He had to have surgery to amputate the leg which was sponsored by SAFE, an animal welfare agency in Branford, CT. After the surgery he developed complications with infection and had to be in the hospital for several days. He is now safe, happy and healthy.
